Privacy Policy

Effective September 23, 2026

Horizen IT Services ("Horizen", "we") provides managed IT services. This policy explains how we handle data, including data accessed by the internal tools we use to run backups and manage systems for our clients, such as the "Horizen rclone" application that connects to Google Drive.

What these tools access

Our internal tools access only the accounts and storage that Horizen operates, or that a client has asked us to manage. The Horizen rclone application reads and writes files in Horizen's own Google Drive to store and verify backups. It does not access anyone else's Google account.

How we use data

We use data only to provide the services we've been engaged for: backing up, protecting, restoring and maintaining systems. We do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade data. We share it only when a client asks us to, or when the law requires it.

Storage and security

Credentials are stored on Horizen-controlled systems, access is limited to Horizen staff and systems, and data is sent over encrypted connections.

Google user data

Horizen's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You can revoke a Horizen application's access to a Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions. To ask about, correct or delete data we hold, contact us at the address below.
